Roesti, Troy


Marine Corps Lt. Col. Troy Roesti has graduated from the U.S. Army War College at Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa., and earned a master's degree in Strategic Studies. The college is the Army's senior educational institution.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army's senior officer school is designed to prepare and train officers of all the U.S. military branches of service, foreign military officers and senior civilian officials of federal agencies to serve in top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. Armed Forces worldwide.

Roesti is an executive officer assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. He has served in the military for 21 years.

Roesti is the son of Jon and Toby Roesti of Defiance, Ohio. He graduated in 1986 from Fairview High School, Sherwood, Ohio, and received a bachelor of science in 1994 from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.
