The Allen County Coroner's office said Wednesday that the driver was Scott A. Saalfrank, 44, of Fort Wayne.

About 5:30 p.m., Saalfrank and a passenger were headed north on Thiele Road, and the Jeep went out of control after turning east onto Hamilton Road, which is a gravel road, according to the Allen County Sheriff's Department.

The passenger, a man, was taken to a hospital in good condition.
