VA system picks new public affairs officer

The Department of Veterans Affairs Northern Indiana Health Care System has hired Mike Brady as public affairs officer.

He replaces Sheryl Grubb, who recently accepted a VA position in California.

Brady is a native of Wabash and grew up in Kokomo. He is a graduate of Indiana University and has been a member of the Marine Corps, the Indiana National Guard and the Army Reserve.

Brady has worked for more than 10 years as a public affairs officer for the military, most recently at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
