Garbage pick-up pushed back next week

Residential garbage and recycling pick-up will be pushed back one day all next week starting Monday when the city of Fort Wayne offices are closed for Labor Day, according to city offices.

The city’s parking meters will be free on Monday, and the city will resume regular business hours on Tuesday.

The garbage and recycling pick-up will begin with Monday’s collection on Tuesday and conclude with Friday’s route on Saturday, a statement said.
