Construction worker dies in fall at building site

TERRE HAUTE – An autopsy has found that a western Indiana man killed in a fall at a construction site died from massive head trauma.

The body of Kenneth Waller, 44, of West Terre Haute was found Monday night in the basement of a building that’s under construction in Terre Haute.

Assistant Police Chief Shawn Keen told the Tribune-Star (http://bit.ly/19Q3YiT ) a relative of Waller’s found his body after growing concerned when he failed to return home from work and didn’t answer his cellphone.

Keen said Waller last was seen by his co-workers at the construction site about eight hours before his body was found. He said Waller was supposed to be checking on some windows directly above the level where his body was found.

No foul play is suspected in his death.
