As NFL teams whittle down their rosters today, some former Notre Dame players didn't make the cut.
- Center Braxston Cave was released by Cleveland
- Quarterback Jimmy Clausen was cut by Carolina
- Offensive lineman Mike Golic Jr. was cut Pittsburgh
- Running back Armando Allen was cut by Chicago on Friday
Defensive lineman Kapron Lewis-Moore will start the season on Baltimore's physically unable to perform list and will miss the first six weeks of the season. Lewis-Moore is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in the BCS championship game.
The statuses of running back Theo Riddick (Detroit), safety Zeke Motta (Atlanta) and safety Jamoris Slaughter (Cleveland)
