Colts cut Harnish

INDIANAPOLIS– Quarterback Chandler Harnish, the final pick in the 2012 draft and a Norwell graduate, was among the 22 players released by the Colts on Saturday.

Two other draft picks were also cut. Offensive lineman Ben Ijalana was a second-round pick in 2011 but missed most of the last two seasons with knee injuries. Defensive tackle Drake Nevis was a third-round pick in 2011 who finished last season on injured reserve.

Linebacker Daniel Adongo, the African rugby player who never made a preseason appearance, and linebacker Josh McNary, who spent the last two years in the Army, also were released.

Others waived included defensive backs Larry Asante, Marshay Green and Sheldon Price; offensive linemen Thomas Austin, Bradley Sowell and Lee Ziemba; defensive linemen Lawrence Guy and Martin Tevaseu; and tight end Dominique Jones.
