2 hurt, 1 OK in car, motorcycle crash

A motorcycle and a car collided Sunday afternoon east of Angola, injuring a husband and wife, Steuben County authorities said.

The crash happened about 3 p.m. at U.S. 20 and Indiana 327.

Daniel Fuller, 50, and his passenger, Rhonda Fuller, 48, were riding a 2012 Harley-Davidson east on U.S. 20 when a 2008 Toyota, northbound on Indiana 327, pulled into their path, Steuben County Deputy Jeffery Sine said.

The Toyota driver, David White, 58, of Fort Wayne, had stopped at the intersection but did not see the motorcycle, which had the right of way, Sine said.

Sine said the Fullers of Pleasant Lake were not wearing helmets. Both were believed to have suffered head injuries, and Rhonda Fuller may have hurt her back as well, the deputy said.

The Fullers were flown by helicopter to a Fort Wayne hospital. Their condition was not released.

White was not hurt in the crash. No citations were issued, Sine said.
