Top 10 Presidents Cup spots secured

NORTON, Mass. – Steve Stricker earned a spot on another Presidents Cup team with his runner-up finish in the Deutsche Bank Championship.

The 10th and final spot for the American team came down to Zach Johnson and Webb Simpson, who were in the same group. Johnson made a 25-foot birdie putt on the last hole to beat out Simpson by $5,715.

The other spots on the U.S. team went to Tiger Woods, Brandt Snedeker, Phil Mickelson, Matt Kuchar, Jason Dufner, Keegan Bradley, Bill Haas and Hunter Mahan.

U.S. captain Fred Couples will announce his two wild-card picks Wednesday.
