Trucker sought in I-69 fuel spill

The Angola Fire Department is looking for the driver of a semi that struck a piece of metal and punctured its diesel fuel tank, spreading fuel along the interstate Tuesday.

Shortly after 12:30 p.m., multiple fire departments responded to a diesel fuel spill on Interstate 69 and east along U.S. 20, according to the Angola Fire Department.

Firefighters worked for more than two hours and used more than 80 bags of granular absorbent and sand to clean up the spill, officials said.
