TinCaps, Silver Hawks scoreless after 3 innings

SOUTH BEND -- Fort Wayne and South Bend are scoreless after three inning in a must-win game for the TinCaps at Four Winds Field.

Fort Wayne starter Colin Rea breezed through his first three frames with three-up and three-down in each inning.

Rea has struck out three batters and forced four ground balls.

Silver Hawks starter Rob Coe has been strong, but hittable. He has hit a batter, walked one and given up a base hit and several hard contacts early.

The TinCaps have nothing to show for it, but could capitalize on a high pitch count after three innings.
