Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., announced Monday that he will open four more offices in Indiana, including one in Fort Wayne.
The local office is at 203 E. Berry St., Suite 702B, in the Anthony Wayne Building in the heart of the downtown. The building has been renovated in the past two years for condominiums, retail space and offices.
Donnelly’s office will open Friday with an open house from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The first-year senator from Granger in St. Joseph County also will open offices in Hammond, Jeffersonville and Evansville this weekend.
Donnelly already has offices in Indianapolis and South Bend.
Hoosiers will be able to contact Sen. Donnelly and his staff at these offices to request assistance on federal issues and to share their thoughts and concerns, his Washington staff said in a news release.
Donnelly’s staff previously said that Jorge Ortiz, northeast regional director for the senator, would be based at a Fort Wayne office to open in September.
Staff members for Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., and Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-3rd, occupy offices at the Ross E. Adair Federal Building in downtown Fort Wayne.
