Rivergreenway detour set near bridge project

FORT WAYNE – Beginning Friday, there will be a short detour on the Maumee Pathway on the Rivergreenway.

The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department announced Thursday that the detour will be between North Anthony Boulevard and Pemberton Drive while the North Anthony bridge over the Maumee River is rebuilt.

Trail users will be directed to use the Hosey Dam driveway to cross North Anthony Boulevard, and then proceed along Niagara Drive to the access ramp where Pemberton and Niagara intersect, the announcement said. The ramp leads back up to the Maumee Pathway.

This detour is expected to be in place through May.
