Dems name new director

The Allen County Democratic Party has a new executive director.

Officials announced this week that William (Bill) Law has been appointed to replace Jack Morris, who recently launched his campaign for the Indiana Senate District 15 seat.

Law is an IU graduate and is Vice President and COO of Law’s Enterprises Inc. and currently heads family business Law’s Country Kennel.

“I am very excited about this opportunity,” Law said in a statement. “This is a very dynamic time in our local party and I’m thrilled to play an integral role in continuing to strengthen our organization to best serve our members, elected officials, candidates and voters.”

Law assumed his position Sept.1.

“Bill had huge shoes to fill when Jack Morris vacated the position to best serve the voters in Senate District 15,” said party chair John Court. “But he is more than up to the task, and we could not ask for a better person to be at the helm than this exciting young leader as our party undergoes dynamic growth.”
