IU takes 18-point lead into final quarter

BLOOMINGTON – Indiana needed to win its game against Bowling Green to give credence to its bowl game chances, and the Hoosiers have taken care of business so far at Memorial Stadium against the Falcons.

IU leads Bowling Green 28-10 after three quarters.

Junior wide receiver Cody Latimer has put together a breakout performance today. The Hoosiers' best deep threat had a slow start to the season, but he has six catches for 137 yards and a touchdown against the Falcons.

Sophomore quarterback Nate Sudfeld continues to be on-point with his throws. He is 16 of 25 for 305 yards and two touchdowns. Tevin Coleman, IU's No. 1 running back, has also had a good day with 18 carries, 125 yards and two touchdowns. The 18 carries are a season-high for the sophomore.

Overall, IU has 517 yards of total offense, with the defense holding Bowling Green to just 290 and only 86 rushing yards.

The Hoosiers begin the fourth quarter with second and goal at the Falcons 5-yard line.
