Antoin Campbell rushed for 188 yards and scored three touchdowns to lead No. 5 Saint Francis to a season-opening 31-13 victory over No. 16 William Penn at Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Campbell scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter and a 33-yard run midway through the fourth. He also scored on an 11-yard pass from quarterback Josh Miller, Campbell's only reception of the game, in the third quarter.
Miller completed 16 of 24 passes for 161 yards and rushed for 114 yards on eight carries.
Matt Noll capped the scoring on 38-yard pass from back-up quarterback Wesley Hunsucker.
The Cougars had 549 total yards (350 rushing, 199 passing) and held William Penn to 199 (172 rushing, 27 passing). Saint Francis averaged 7.1 yards per rush.
