Animal Care wants blankets, mats, towels

Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control is asking the public to donate any unwanted blankets, towels or bath mats to provide cats and dogs with warm bedding.

The agency's blankets and towels become dirty quickly and need to be washed frequently. In time, the bedding begins to fall apart.

Blankets provide warmth and comfort to dogs and cats, especially the new arrivals. To make No Sew Fleece cat beds, go to the shelter website at www.fwacc.org and click "Wish List" for a pattern and instructions. Donations can be dropped off at 3020 Hillegas Road.
