Police seeking ID in credit card case

Fort Wayne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who may be linked to a credit card theft.

On Aug. 23, a man was at the BP gas station at South Anthony Boulevard and East Tillman Road when he realized his wallet was missing, according to a police report.

The next day, one of his credit cards was used eight times to make purchases at various local stores, the report stated.

The man alerted police who later obtained store surveillance footage of a woman who may be involved in the case. Police released a still image Tuesday, showing her leaving a business.

Anyone who can identify the woman or knows her whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
