2 injured in crash in rural Defiance

A Hicksville, Ohio, man was badly injured in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in Defiance County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. at Cicero and Arrowsmith roads in Milford Township.

A 2012 Ford Mustang heading east on Arrowsmith ran a stop sign and collided with a 2004 GMC Sierra that was northbound on Cicero, the patrol said.

The Mustang driver, Quenton Yoder, 20, of Hicksville, and the Sierra driver, Greg Bany, 50, of Edgerton, were both wearing seat belts, the patrol said.

Yoder was flown from the scene to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was in critical condition Tuesday, and by Wednesday evening, his condition had been upgraded to serious, Parkview staff said.

Bany was taken to Hicksville Hospital and later transferred to Parkview.

He was in fair condition Wednesday evening, Parkview staff said.
