Kubacki: Hoosiers heard heartbreaking news

State Rep. Rebecca Kubacki, R-Syracuse, issued the following statement in response to today’s shooting which resulted in the death of an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer originally from Nappanee:

“Early this morning, Hoosiers heard the heartbreaking news that Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer Rod Bradway was killed in the line of duty. Officer Bradway represents all of those who bravely serve and protect us from harm each and every day, putting their lives on the line for our personal safety. His selfless sacrifice and courage is heroic and deserves the highest distinction and recognition.

“My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and those closest to him during this difficult time.”
