Synthetic marijuana seized in Syracuse

More than 100 packages of synthetic marijuana and records of transactions were seized Friday during the search of a Syracuse business, the Syracuse Police Department said.

The department said it served a search warrant on the What You Want store, 503 S. Huntington St., after an investigation over several months by the Indiana State Police.

Undercover purchases of the product, also known as Spice or K2, were made, police said, and it was determined the substance being sold was illegal. Arrests are expected, police said.
