Suspect identified in southwest burglary

FORT WAYNE – The Fort Wayne Police Department on Wednesday released the identity of a man who is a suspect in one burglary on the city's southwest side.

"The Fort Wayne Police Department has made an arrest in one of a series of burglaries that have plagued a number of southwest neighborhoods recently," Wednesday's statement said.

Christian William Bradley, 21, of Fort Wayne, was arrested at his place of employment on Tuesday and charged with felony burglary, according to a statement issued by the department.

A uniformed officer investigating a burglary in the 4000 block of South Harrison Street on Saturday was able to lift latent prints that were later identified as belonging to the man, police said.

He was charged in connection with that burglary.

The case remains under investigation.

"Investigators will continue to pour over the remaining cases to determine if Bradley or any other person of interest is responsible," Wednesday's police statement said.
