Eyeing IU

Hoosier Hysteria schedule finalized

Indiana Athletics finalized the schedule for Hoosier Hysteria, which takes place at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Assembly Hall.

Fans have already started lining up for the event, and doors open at 5 p.m. Friday. Admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring a canned good for donation to the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. IU will rely on athletics department members Jeremy Gray and Chuck Crabb, as well as Michael Grady of 1070 The Fan (Indianapolis) and Eddie White of the Indiana Pacers as emcees for the program.

Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell, Evan Gordon, Will Sheehey, Austin Etherington and Collin Hartman will participate in the 3-point shooting contest for the men. Nicole Bell, Taylor Agler, Tabitha Gerardot, Karlee McBride and Kaila Hulls -- the younger sister of Jordan Hulls -- will compete for the women's team.

A two-ball shooting contest that is new to the program will pair off members of the men's and women's teams. Sasha Chaplin and Jonny Marlin, Lyndsay Leikem and Taylor Wayer, Larryn Brooks and Noah Vonleh, and Alexis Gassion and Peter Jurkin will compete.

For the dunk contest, IU will toss in Devin Davis, Jeremy Hollowell, Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Stan Robinson. Troy Williams, who was to participate but is out with an injury to his right hand, will judge the competition.
