Notre Dame lands basketball recruit

Notre Dame added a second member to 2014 basketball recruiting class Monday.

Bonzie Colson, a 6-foot-5, 210-pound forward from St. Andrews High School in Barrington, R.I., orally committed to the Irish during a school assembly on Monday.

Colson averaged 16.8 points and 9.8 rebounds as a junior and is ranked No. 146 in the Rivals150.

He joins Martin Geben, a 6-6, 215-pound forward, in Notre Dame's recruiting class. Geben is ranked the No. 98 prospect in the Rivals150.
