Here it is. And please remember, once again, it's Sam Wyche, so proceed with caution.

That said ... if this is remotely true (and Wyche's conveniently self-aggrandizing ending should send up a few red flags), apparently Pete Rozelle was an even bigger egomaniac than Roger Goodell is. Don't think even Goodell would attempt to rule a team's offense illegal minutes before the AFC title game was about to be played.

Then again ... have you seen Denver's offense lately?

Wouldn't surprise me if Goodell weren't staying up late trying to figure out how he can legislate it into a coma. Just sayin'.
