  • Talked to new K's goalie Nagle
I spoke to Komets goaltender Pat Nagle. Super nice guy. And I don't just say that because we're both from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
  • K's invading AHL camps
When American Hockey League training camps opened today, there were lots of players under contract to play for the Komets this season who took part.

K's go hard on Day 3

The Komets held a fast-paced scrimmage on Day 3 of training camp.

Best day so far for K's

Day 3 of the Komets' training camp was easily their best day so far. They were going hard. They were hitting.

The players I like best right now are Tristan King, Paul McIlveen, Mickey Lang, Matthew Larke, John Muse and, today, Lincoln Kaleigh Schrock looked really solid. Matt Firman was also much more noticeable today.

Defensively, no one is really standing out -- but that's a good thing, because if I notice you that means you are getting beat -- but the size is being put to good use. I'm still not totally convinced we'll see enough offense from the back end.

Muse and goalie Cody Reichard are clearly a cut above the other goalies, Max Strang and Larkin Saalfrank.
