Wayne High aide tied to drug use

An administrative assistant at Wayne High School was arrested Friday at the school after an investigation into drug use at his home.

Marcus Lamar Falkner, 27, faces preliminary charges of maintaining a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.

On Friday, Fort Wayne Police officers served a search warrant at his home in the 4300 block of Southpark Drive.

Inside the house, police report finding drug paraphernalia used to smoke crack cocaine, methamphetamine and synthetic marijuana.

Falkner admitted to using the glass pipe found at the home to smoke “Spice” but denied any involvement in methamphetamine use. He said his roommates used meth and planned to kick them out of the house, according to court documents.
