1 indicted in violent robbery, remains at large

A suspect in a gas station robbery has been indicted in Paulding County, Ohio, thanks to tips from the public, and now the county sheriff's department is asking for help finding him.

James Robert Reynolds, 34, of Fort Jennings, Ohio, has been indicted on one county of aggravated robbery, accused of a Grover Hill robbery in which two Ross's station clerks were assaulted a week ago, according to a statement issued Friday by the department.

It said the indictment came after an "overwhelming" number of tips came in to the office. The original item posted on the department's Facebook page got more than 160 "shares."

A second person was also believed to be involved, the statement said.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the department at 419-399-3791 or leave the information on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/PauldingCountySheriffsOffice. Anonymous tips can be left for the sheriff on a link provided on the department's website, http://www.pauldingohsheriff.com/.
