Police seeking IDs in liquor shop theft

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department wants the public’s help in identifying two people of interest in a liquor store theft case.

Photographs of the two were obtained from surveillance cameras at Leesburg Liquors, the sheriff’s department said Thursday.

The first person of interest is described as a man who wore black pants, a black Pink Floyd “The Dark Side of the Moon” T-shirt and a black ball cap with “Roadway Express” in white lettering.

He appeared to be about 5-foot-6 and white, with a slim build, brown hair and sideburns, authorities reported.

The second person of interest is a woman about the same height and white with bobbed, jaw-length, blondish-brown hair.

She wore a low-cut pink shirt and appeared to have a tattoo on her right arm between her shoulder and elbow, authorities said.

The pair left the business in a small-to-midsized black car with a white decal or bumper sticker below the license plate and possibly a chrome grille.

Anyone with information about either person or the car is asked to call the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department at 574-267-5667.

Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call 574-372-2494.
