Mixed messages to teens

Sometimes I think there's nothing wrong with high school administrators a good smack in the head from the common sense stick wouldn't cure.

Case in point: North Andover High School in Massachusetts, where volleyball player Erin Cox was suspended for five games and stripped of her captaincy because she went to pick up a friend who was too drunk to drive.

Yes, you heard right. The same administrators who constantly preach to kids that they shouldn't drink and drive punished a kid for trying to make sure someone didn't drink and drive.

Makes sense to me. Not.
