I'd love to preface this by saying, "Only in Indiana." But unfortunately rampant idiocy, especially rampant idiocy with a sports component, isn't confined to Indiana.
And so we have this awful tragedy, in which a father gets drunk watching football at a Buffalo Wild Wings, gets in an argument with his son and winds up (this being America in 2013) going to get his gun so he can shoot his kid to death.
Really? Over bleeping football?
And not to open up a whole other can of worms, but it's abundantly obvious when you read the story that this guy should never have been allowed within a nautical mile of a firearm. We don't let blind people drive, why do we let morons with anger issues buy guns?
