Bust yields meth, drug lab, 1 arrest

An Etna Green man was being held without bail after his arrest on multiple meth charges.

The Warsaw Police Department received a tip Wednesday evening that Joshua Stacy was going from store to store in Warsaw, buying items that are commonly used to make meth.

Drug Task Force officers from Warsaw and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department found him at his home and reported finding an active methamphetamine lab outside a shed on the property along with chemicals, precursors and finished meth.

The 28-year-old was preliminarily charged with dealing/delivering/manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, Warsaw police said.

Warsaw police were also assisted by the Indiana State Police, Winona Lake Police Department and the Kosciusko Prosecutor’s Office. The clandestine lab team cleaned up the scene.

Warsaw drug tips can be called into the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9540.
