Donnelly's office to offer assistance on military academy applications

The Fort Wayne office of Sen. Joe Donnelly, D-Ind., will provide information Thursday to high school students interested in applying to attend a military service academy.

Information will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. at Donnelly’s office in Suite 702B of the Anthony Wayne Building, 203 E. Berry St.

The senator's staff will help students navigate the application process and outline requirements needed to be considered for a nomination from Donnelly.

The program was rescheduled from Oct. 1 because of the partial federal government shutdown, which began that day and lasted 16 days.
