Salin Bank is planning a grand opening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for its new branch at 9835 Lima Road.
The branch features an interactive teller system, which allows customers to interact with bank employees by video chat.
A live, Indiana-based Salin teller will have complete control of the interactive teller machine, which can perform almost all the services typically performed inside a branch, Salin officials said.
Bill Salin II praised the branch design, which includes blue-tinted glass, a nautical motif and self-service interactive teller bays.
“This new banking center represents an important investment in the future growth of our bank, our commitment to the Fort Wayne community and our desire to bring world-class customer service to our clients,” he said in a statement.
