Indiana beats national average in GSR

Indiana posted a Graduate Success Rate of 82 percent in its 24 sports and beat the national average of 81 percent, according to a report released by the NCAA on Thursday.

The GSR, which measures graduation over six years from first-time college enrollment, is representative of athletes who began their college careers from 2003-06. The GSR is separate from Academic Progress Rate, or APR, which is a real-time calculation of academic success among enrolled athletes.

IU graduated all of its participants in five sports: women's golf, women's soccer, women's swimming and diving, women's tennis and men's golf.
