Muse may be gone awhile

If you're hoping John Muse will only be gone for the two Komets games this weekend, don't hold your breath.

The goaltender was called up to Charlotte of the American Hockey League on Wednesday.

Charlotte is without either of its top two goalies -- Justin Peters and Mike Murphy -- as they were called to the parent club, the Carolina Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes are without Cam Ward and Anton Khudobin.

Muse stopped all 30 shots he faced in Charlotte’s 5-0 victory Friday at Calder Cup-champion Grand Rapids.
