Meth labs seized at Noble apartment

Police attempting to serve an arrest warrant early Thursday discovered nine one-pot meth labs in a Kendallville apartment, according to authorities.

About 12:45 a.m., officers went to 351 Ashton Drive, Apt. B, looking for a 42-year-old Hudson man who had an outstanding arrest warrant in Noble County, Kendallville police said in a statement.

In the apartment, they found the man they were seeking. They also came across a 45-year-old Fort Wayne man wanted in LaGrange County and the one-pot meth labs, police said.

Both men were booked into the Noble County Jail in Albion. As of Thursday evening, neither man had been charged with making methamphetamine.

The Hudson man was being held without bail on a misdemeanor charge of maintaining or visiting a common nuisance. The Fort Wayne man was held on the LaGrange County charge.
