Coats is taking military academy applications

FORT WAYNE – Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., is accepting applications for nomination to the U.S. military academies.

Applicants must submit the completed application packet available at www.coats.senate.gov by Thursday, Nov. 1.

Candidates must be at least 17 but not have reached their 23rd birthdays, U.S. citizens, legal residents of Indiana and neither married nor pregnant nor have legal obligation to support children or other dependents.
