Aldean bus kills Hoosier


Police in Indiana say a man was killed when he was struck by a tour bus belonging to country star Jason Aldean.

Knox County Sheriff Michael P. Morris said Aldean and his driver were the only ones aboard the bus early Monday when it struck a man who had walked onto U.S. Highway 41 North.

The deceased was identified as Albert Kennedy of Vincennes.

Morris said no charges will be filed, calling the accident “unavoidable.”

3 years’ probation

Rapper 50 Cent has been sentenced to three years of probation after pleading no contest to vandalism in a case filed after an alleged fight with his ex-girlfriend this year.

Los Angeles City Attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan says the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, was ordered on Monday to pay $7,100 in restitution and take year of domestic violence classes.

The woman had accused Jackson of breaking down a door and kicking her, but the domestic violence charge was dropped Monday.

Mateljan says the rapper must comply with a restraining order.

Ciara, Future to wed

Ciara’s future is Future: The R&B singer and the rapper-producer are engaged.

Future surprised the Grammy-winner with a 15-carat diamond ring over the weekend, their publicist, Chris Chambers said. She was celebrating her 28th birthday in New York when he proposed.

Baby on way

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are expecting their first child.

Wilde’s publicist, Joy Fehily, confirmed the news Sunday. This will be the first child for both actors.

The couple became engaged in January.
