Scouting report: The free-falling Thunder are coming off a needed bye week. The Thunder dropped a 14-9 verdict to Adrian on Oct. 19 for its fourth straight loss. This time the Thunder led 3-0 at halftime before Adrian scored all of its points in the third quarter. Trines defense held Adrian to just 229 yards and 3.8 yards per play, but the Thunder managed just 308 total yards, the bulk of them coming from quarterback Andrew Dee, who was 15-of-35 passing for 201 yards and a touchdown. Now comes a Hope team thats won three straight, including routs of Olivet (47-14) and Alma (43-23). In those two games, Hope is averaging 32.1 points behind quarterback Michael Atwell, whos thrown for 1,929 yards and 14 touchdowns, and an opportunistic defense that is allowing just 15 points per game.
