Berry Street closure downtown to last a month

FORT WAYNE – Berry Street is scheduled to close to all traffic between Ewing and Harrison streets for the next month.

The closure will begin Tuesday and run through Dec. 4, according to a statement issued Monday by the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department.

API Construction will continue work on the Ewing East-West Sanitary Sewer separation project in downtown Fort Wayne, the statement said.

There will be no official detour for this section of Berry, the department said, adding the section of Berry between Broadway and Ewing will be back open to traffic at the time of the new closure.
