Same guys doing great....Lang, Marino, Flemming, auger, Hartman quietly plays solid.
This was their best game this season IMO. Rob madore was brilliant all night as it seemed he stood on his head all game long or this May have been a lopsided affair.
Glad the Komets responded to after a debacle last evening.
Sorry, but tuzzolino and Pokulok looked awful again defensively. We need some upgrades on the blue line. I hope Kyle Follmer gives us a spark.

Under the thread, "I was wrong: It's panic time."
I put in, "I never thought that Wheeling would win here, a so-so team, in the middle of a road trip. Was I wrong!" I also contributed (concerning the Cincinnati game), "Stranger things have happened, and sports are filled with surprises, but I'm not expecting anything else than what I've seen."
I was wrong again (thankfully so).
I'm not sure this win against Cincinnati is going to completely change my mind. I think it does help answer a couple of nagging questions, however.
I think we can junk the assertion that the team isn't in shape or has conditioning questions.
Whether or not it's evident to us, this team proved it can play against anybody. In a funk, going on the road, visiting the division leader (undefeated), giving them their first loss (and their first game that they've received no points), against a quality goalie, suggests nothing but good things for the future.
My opinion is that the team still needs to rid itself of a couple of their players. (Maybe more).
If there were players in the stands, during the Wheeling game, "rolling their eyes, laughing, etc.", as Hit posted, I would suggest they spend their time looking in the mirror.
The mirror may reflect more than some bargain for. It may just be that if you aren't part of the solution, than you are definitely part of the problem!
At least that's my reflection on it.

One road win a trend does not make.

No Hit, it does not. But you sure have to start somewhere, and a win is better than the alternative.
I'm not advocating that there isn't a lot of problems. I still think this roster needs tweaking, and I'm sure Cincinnati felt pretty comfortable going into the game.

Happy to get such a huge win..both teams played well..let's get one at home next! I am fairly discouraged at how this team is hesitant to play physical and aggressive. Graham said we could expect a gritty, physical team this season. So either he was just saying what he knew we wanted to hear...or he has a team that isn't following his orders. Not good either way...I guess over the next couple of weeks things will be more evident. I also laughed at Schrock giving his coach an A. What else would he say...lol...on the air..during a game...being assistant captain?

Well, Graham gave Schrock an "A" to wear, so I suppose it's fitting for Schrock to give Graham an A also.
The reality is , hockey fix, that I know just what you mean. I have no idea why that question would even be asked. I'm sure that Schrock was sincere, but it could have put him in a pretty tight spot. Not a good thing for the interviewer to ask the interviewee.
