Mike’s Carwash will give all veterans and active military a free carwash from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at any location. The stores will also be collecting money for the Disabled American Veterans.

Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling of Northeast Indiana, along with more than 25 companies that sponsored the PDR Golf Classic on Sept. 12, helped raise $2,713 with 56 pints of blood collected for the American Red Cross of Northeast Indiana.
The FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) Club at Homestead High School collected 5,000 cans of food for the Community Harvest Food Bank.
Heritage Park, 2001 Hobson Road, is seeking donations from Nov. 25 to Dec. 20 of new hats, gloves, mittens and scarves to give to Fort Wayne Community Schools students in kindergarten through high school. There will be barrels for donations.
Associated Churches of Fort Wayne and Allen County, 602 E. Wayne St., is collecting food for Thanksgiving meals for military families. Food items needed are 200 boxes of cornbread stuffing, 200 cans of green beans, 200 gravy mixes and 200 cans of sweet potatoes. To help, call 422-3528.

Partners 1st Federal Credit Union gave $750 to Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana from its Dime Every Time promotion. More than $3,700 is being distributed to schools, food banks and charities in area branch offices.
MidWest America Federal Credit Union will participate in the Angel Tree Drive from Tuesday to Dec. 14. Gifts will be distributed to Adams, Bloomingdale, Franke Park, Maplewood and Southwick elementary schools and Prince Chapman Academy. Trees with requested items will be put in each branch, and gifts that are purchased can be returned to that branch. In addition, MidWest employees and board members donated $5,000 to purchase 156 coats for local children; 143 of those coats were donated to Fort Wayne Community Schools.
