Intermittent restrictions on southbound Interstate 69 are scheduled to begin tonight in DeKalb County.
Lanes will have restrictions between Exit 329 at Indiana 8 and Exit 326 at County Road 11-A, weather permitting, the Indiana Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
INDOT said bridge maintenance work will be done over the CSX tracks and Diehl Ditch, about a mile south of Indiana 8, and also over County Road 48, a little more than a mile south of Indiana 8.
The work is scheduled between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m., beginning with a restriction in the southbound right lane. As work progresses, the contractor will restrict the southbound left lane, INDOT said.
The speed limit will be 45 mph while the work is being done and the lane in use will have a width limit of 14 feet.
The maintenance is expected to be complete by 6 a.m. Saturday, INDOT said.
