Cable work to restrict Spy Run Avenue at night

Spy Run Avenue will have intermittent nighttime restrictions for about two months between Superior Street and State Boulevard for electrical cable work, the Indiana Department of Transportation has announced.

The restrictions will take place between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. nightly, weather permitting, and are expected to end by mid-January, the transportation department said in a statement.

Indiana Michigan Power is doing the work, which is accessed via roadway manholes, the statement said.

It said drivers should watch for arrowboards and barrels to direct traffic.
