Trade completed

The Komets completed their trade for forward Brett Lyon, who had been with Bakersfield.

A 22-year-old, 6-foot-2, 195-pound tough guy, he had more than 20 major penalties for fighting last season, while totaling five goals, 10 points and 218 penalty minutes in 57 games with Bakersfield and Orlando.

The Komets gave up cash to get him.
