Sex offender accused of failing to register turns himself in


The Steuben County Sheriff’s Department says a man accused of failing to register as a sex offender has turned himself in.

An arrest warrant was issued Friday for Glynn K. Tribble, 22, who faces a felony charge for failing to register as a sex or violent offender, the sheriff’s department said.

Tribble was also wanted in Steuben County on a probation violation.

The sheriff’s department said he turned himself in to the department just before 5 p.m. Sunday.

Tribble is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
