FORT WAYNE – Berry Street will be closed a little bit longer than planned.
The busy downtown street will be clsoed to all traffic between Webster and Harrison streets starting Monday and ending Dec. 6, according to a statement issued Wednesday by the Fort Wayne Traffic Engineering Department.
The closure for the downtown sewer project was previously scheduled to begin later in the week.
The intersection of Berry and South Harrison streets will temporarily have a flashing signal to allow Berry Street traffic access onto Harrison.
During the closure, Maiden Lane will temporarily be made two-way for access to the Fort Wayne Community Center off Main Street.
