2 masked gunmen rob pizza shop

Two men armed with guns robbed a south-side pizza shop Monday, according to Fort Wayne police reports.

The men entered Givers Pizza, 3412 Fairfield Ave., shortly before 7 p.m.

They wore masks and gloves, according to witnesses in the shop.

One was taller and appeared more relaxed, as if he was “experienced,” one witness said. He was described as black and wearing a Carhartt-style coat and Nike Jordan sneakers that were white with a blue fishnet design over the front of the shoes.

The other was short, possibly 5-foot-3, and nervous, witnesses said in the police reports.

He was also described as black with “thick eyebrows and girly eyes with long lashes.” He wore a black coat, witnesses said.

The two men took cash out of a drawer and left through a back door, according to the reports.
