    The IPFW women's soccer team (1-6) fell 3-0 at Oxford, Ohio to Miami. Kelsey Dinges scored for the RedHawks in the 25th minute from a free kick deflection to give the hosts a one-goal advantage at halftime.

Big week brings recognition for IPFW's Hyde

IPFW women's basketball player Amanda Hyde earned three player of the week awards after leading the Mastodons past then-No. 21 Michigan State 81-76 on Sunday.

Hyde scored 23 points and had seven assists for IPFW as it picked up its first ever win over a ranked opponent. She was recognized by College Sports Madness as Madness Mid-Major Women's Basketball Player of the Week and the Madness Summit League Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

She also shared the official Summit League Player of the Week honors with Ashley Luke of Western Illinois.
